SMITHFIELD - The Apple Valley Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Road.

The club will demonstrate how to create window boxes with fragrant herbs and spring plants.

Members are asked to bring containers, soil, herbs and spring plants. There will also be a plant swap.
