The only two weeks remaining in the regular season, things are winding down in the Rhode Island Senior Softball League, but still only one division race has been settled.
Despite dropping a pair of games on Sunday, 12-6 and 8-3 to Elmwood Sports of the A-2 Division in a crossover game, The Valley Breeze has still locked up a first place finish in the B-1 Division.
All other regular season division titles remain up for grabs.
In the A-1 Division, My Cousin Vinny split with Action Auto, winning the first, 15-9, and dropping the second, 15-8. The first place Ray Sewell Income Tax Service team had a bye.
Sewell leads the division at 15-1, followed by Action Auto, 15-3, and My Cousin Vinny, 15-7.
League officials have altered the schedule and Sewell will face Action Auto in its next games on Sept. 7. Because of inclement weather earlier in the season, the teams have not faced off in season play, and the league decided to alter the schedule that had been set in April.
