NORTH PROVIDENCE - Registration for the North Providence Pool & Fitness Center's Learn to Swim program will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 8:30 a.m. at the center.

Each session lasts eight weeks beginning on Sept. 13.

Levels one, two and three classes will be from 10 to 11 a.m.; levels four, five and six from 11 a.m. to noon and preschool from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Cost is $40 for pool members.

Sign-ups for after-school swim lessons will begin on Sept. 16. The lessons are for those in levels one through six and each class meets for eight classes over a two-week period. The first session will run from Oct. 6-16, and the second from Oct. 20-30.

The Preschool level will be in session on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5 p.m. from Oct. 7-30. Parent and child class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5 p.m. from Oct. 14-30. Cost is $40 for pool members.
