He was the husband of Margaret (Padykula) Boucher; they had been happily married for the past 59 years. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Joseph and Alphonsine (Plouffe) Boucher, he resided in Lincoln for the past 17 years, previously living in Cumberland. He worked for the Cumberland School Department for 10 years until his retirement and previously had worked for the former Owens Corning Fiberglas Company for 32 years. He was a communicant of Historic St. Joseph Church in Cumberland. He enjoyed working in his yard and playing cards. Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Gerard Boucher and Carl Boucher, both of Lincoln, and Paul Boucher of Woonsocket; two daughters, Cynthia Boucher and Joyce Hockenson, both of Cumberland; two sisters, Doris Chagnon of Central Falls and Claire Paquette in California; and seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was the brother of the late Auora Maillot, Sister Lauray Boucher SSA, Yvonne Landry, Alice Phaneuf, Theresa Labossiere and Leo Boucher.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Route 122, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private.
