LINCOLN - Edward and Diane Dean announce the engagement of their daughter, Jerilyn Dean, to Vincent Kayata Jr., son of Vincent and Mary Kayata, of Lincoln.

The future bride graduated from Lincoln High School in 2006. She attended EMT basic classes at the Community College of Rhode Island. She is employed as a dispatcher for Access Ambulance Company.

The future groom graduated from William M. Davies Career and Technical High School in 2000. He received his PC repair and networking certificate from Computer Ed. He is employed as a flow team member at Target and is the owner of Six Gun Production Company.

The couple plans to wed August 14, 2010.
