FOSTER - District Lodge Rhode Island No. 3 will sponsor Vasa Day at Little Rhody Vasa Park, Boswell Trail, on Saturday, Sept. 6.

The park opens at 11 a.m. The flag ceremony will be at 1 p.m., king and queen crowning at 2:30 p.m., and games for all at 3 p.m.

Sandwiches, hot dogs, Swedish bread and other baked goods will be available.

The event will feature tombola, specialty tables and crafts. Entertainment will be provided by Bud Pistachio, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. There will be raffles for adults and children, drawing after dinner.

A baked stuffed chicken dinner will be served at 5 p.m.

The price is $13 for adults, $6 for children 12 and under and $1 for the afternoon only.
