CUMBERLAND - Pediatrician Pietro Russo has been honored by the American Medical Association on his 50-year anniversary of his graduation from medical school.

Russo, a Cumberland resident, graduated in 1958 from the University of Messina Medical School in Italy, and has been a member of the AMA for 48 years. He is a member of the AMA's senior physician group, the largest organization of senior physicians in the country, with 60,000 members.
