She was the wife of the late Jack Wilkinson. Born in Tignish, Prince Edward Island, Canada, a daughter of the late Thomas John and Fidelis (Gaudet) Maillet, she had lived in Smithfield for the past 45 years. Mrs. Wilkinson was a seamstress in the textile industry before retiring. She was a member of the Melody Hill Golf Club. She leaves two daughters, Eileen Gauthier of Plymouth, N.H., and Dee Moniz of Smithfield; two sisters, Rita Hunt of Lincoln and Stella Healey of Burrillville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eugene Maillet, Mae Brunelle and Winifred Molineux.
A prayer service will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. at Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellows.com.
