He was the husband of Edna (Comette) Goodrow. Born in Derry, N.H., he was the son of the late John and Eva (Ripley) Goodrow. He resided in Cumberland for the past 10 years, previously residing in Manchester, N.H., for many years. He was an Army veteran serving our country during the Korean War and two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star after his second tour in Vietnam. Besides his beloved wife he leaves a daughter, Bonnie Kavanagh of Cumberland; a brother, David Goodrow of Hooksett, N.H.; a sister, Doris Jascot of Windham, N.H.; a granddaughter, Nicole Felici and a grandson, Kyle Kavanagh; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Norman Goodrow, John Goodrow and Ruth Houle.
