Nichols College has named Gretchen Lange of Greenville, and Jarrett Purcell of Chepachet, to the spring semester dean's list.

Alison Schloss, of Scituate, has been named to the spring semester dean's list at the University of Rhode Island.

Edward Pedchenko Jr., of Foster, received a bachelor of arts degree from Western New England College. He was also named to the spring semester dean's list.

Kimberly D. Torrey, of North Scituate, has graduated magna cum laude from Arcadia University, with a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography.

Derek Michael Smith, a junior in chemical engineering at the University of Rochester, has been named to the dean's list for academic achievement in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering for the spring semester. He is the son of Dennis and Eileen Smith, of Smithfield.

Briana Lee Scorpio, of Chepachet, was awarded a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Catherine A. Choquette, of North Scituate, was awarded a bachelor of fine arts, master of fine arts and master of science in art education degrees from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
